As we mentioned in previous posts, eBay, by default, allows in its API a maximum of 5,000 requests per day, which means that we have limitations when publishing or updating products, as well as modifying the stock, prices, images, etc.. To avoid this limitation, eBay has an application validation option that allows you to make up to 1,500,000 requests per day.
MultiChannel Integration Platform is an application that has already been certified by eBay, so you only need to request the extension of requests through your eBay Developers account, so you can use all the power of our software. According to eBay, this process takes between 5-7 days, but our experience tells us that it can take up to 30 days.
To request an upgrade, you must first go to the eBay Developers page at https://developer.ebay.com/signin and log in with the information you registered with when you created your account.
When you are logged in, go to the top menu and click Support > Compatible app check.
You will come to a section where you will be given information about this option and below you will have the button Apply for Application Check. Click on it.
You will now be prompted to activate premium support by clicking Profile & Contacts.
On the profile page, you need to edit Primary Contact, fill in the information requested (if any are missing) and save. Once this is done, edit again and you can activate premium support by clicking on the Activate Support button.
You will see a message telling you that the support is activated, so you can go to request the extension.
Go back to the menu and go back to Support > Compatible app check, once there, click on the Apply for Application Check button. You already have the form to request the extension and, although it is quite technical, you should not worry. We will tell you what to put in each field so you only have to copy and paste:
In bold is the name of the field and, after the 2 dots, what you should copy and paste into the field. In parenthesis there are clarifications, do not paste them.

Once eBay approves the extension, you will receive a confirmation email from eBay Developers and the API request extension notification message disappears from the Multichannel Integration Platform.
