How to install a new module in my dropshipping store

We are going to explain how to install new modules in your dropshipping store, powered by Prestashop.

IMPORTANT :

Important!
BigBuy is not responsible for the damages caused by the installation of a module that is not developed by us.

To ensure the correct behaviour of our synchronisation process and your store, some user permissions are disabled by default. In order to change these permissions, please get in touch with our Technical Support team. In a 48 hours period we will give you the user permissions to install a new module.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Modules (1) > Installed modules (2).
  2. Click “Upload a module” (3).

3. At the pop-up window, you must upload the module. You have two options:

  • Click on the blue words “select file” and look in your computer for the compressed file (.zip) with the module.
  • Click on the file and drop it on the window (advanced level).

4. Click “Open”.

5. Once you have uploaded succesfully the module to your dropshipping store, you’ll see a new pop-up window. Click on “Configure” to configure the module.

IMPORTANT: You must take into account that BigBuy will NOT offer technical support for modules not developed by us. If you decide to install an external module, it is your responsability and, if there is any malfunction we will have to restore your store to a previous state (backup). This could mean a loss of information of your store.

Before you buy and install a module, we recommend that you to check if they offer technical support. It’s them -and not BigBuy- the ones that must make sure that the module works properly in your Prestashop store.

Due to these reasons, we can not guarantee that your store will work correctly with an external module, since we do not know how they are developed.
