If you have already made the delegation previously:

There’s no need to repeat the process. Just enter your Seller ID in the channel validation section and continue with the setup.

If you haven’t yet delegated, follow these steps:

1- Access the delegation page

Start

2- Select BigBuy as the aggregator

• In the drop-down menu, choose BigBuy as the aggregator.

• Accept the Terms and Conditions.

• Press “Grant Access to BigBuy”.

3- Authenticate your account

• A summary of the delegation will be displayed with the BigBuy identifier.

• Press “Proceed with seller authentication”.

4- Log in to Cdiscount

• Enter your Seller ID and password.

• Press “Log In”.

5- Confirm the delegation

• A warning message will appear confirming access to BigBuy.

• Click “Yes, continue” to finish.

6- Confirm

• You will see a message indicating that the delegation was successful.

7- Validate the channel in MIP

• Enter your Seller ID during the channel validation process.

• Click “Next” to complete the integration.

It’s important to note that, over time, product prices may change in the BigBuy catalog. Therefore, we recommend not using this function for many products to keep your store up to date. If you want to change prices for the entire catalog, we recommend using the other tools explained in detail in the article How Price Rules Work. 

Below, we’ll explore how to use the Price Update tool step-by-step. 

Select the products you want to put on offer:

Before starting, choose the references and note them down, as you’ll need them in the following steps. 

Configure the Price Update tool in your connector:

In your connector’s Pricing Strategy, select Additional Configuration > Price updates > Disable price update by SKU to activate this tool.  
Enter each reference (SKU) whose price you don’t want the MIP to update. If desired, you can also add the references from a CSV file and remove them once your offer ends. 

Publish the changes:

Once you have entered the references, continue to the end of the configuration and click Publish to apply the changes. 

Create offers on the marketplace:

Once you have configured the MIP, you can change the prices or create offers from your marketplace’s control panel. If you have followed the steps up to this point, the prices you set in the marketplace will not be updated by our software.

Activate the price update exclusion function to be able to enter the references of the products for which you don’t want the price to be updated in the marketplace.

Relevant Notes for Some Marketplaces

Amazon

In order to use the price update function, you need to grant the Multi-Channel Integration Platform permissions to access the reports.

To do this, take the following steps:

• Go to Settings> User Permissions

• In User Permissions, click Manage Permissions.

• Once inside, go to Reports and click on View and edit to give the permissions.

eBay

Offers that are out of stock or deactivated products are voided. When the product is registered again, the price defined by the pricing strategy that you have established in the Multi-Channel Integration Platform will be used.

In this article we’ll show you how the platform works and explain how to work with Cdiscount step by step. Here you can find everything you need to know about product integration, API connections, information management, orders and more.

1. Account validation and registration

Before you start with Cdiscount integration, you must create a vendor account and validate it. To do this visit the Cdiscount Marketplace page and click Subscribe, fill in the data and follow the steps as indicated.

Please note that your account will not be fully validated until you have received a sign-up confirmation email. When you have received this email click on the link that will take you to the registration page, where you need to enter the data.

Step 1, attach image file of an identity document, front and back.

Step 2, where the company’s information is located, attach a document attesting to the existence of the company: “incorporation certificate, limited liability company certificate or self-evaluation declaration”

Step 3, upload a document from your bank, showing the following information: bank logo, name and address of bank, and IBAN, BIC/SWIFT.

2. Access to the Cdiscount seller

Once you have validated your Cdiscount account, access it to enter your login details in this link: user and password.

3. Sync the catalogue with the Multi-Channel Integration Platform

PUBLISHING THE CATALOGUE

In the Multi-Channel Integration Platform synchronisation phase, select the categories you want to publish.

IMPORTANT!

Automatic order acceptance

For orders to be automatically accepted in Cdiscount and then transferred to the Multi-Channel Integration Platform directly, you need to change certain settings in the Cdiscount Seller Zone.

Click Settings > Your Store settings.

Then click on other settings.

Enable the option to automatically Accept orders.

Now your customers’ orders will be automatically accepted for processing and shipping.

SHIPPING COSTS AND CARRIER STRATEGY

Carriers

The system will connect to the best transport service in each country of delivery, so there is no need to perform any configuration.

Shipping options

To set the shipping options you want to offer, access the Cdiscount control panel and click on Settings > Shipping options.

In order for your store to work, simply select the following two shipping forms:

• Tracking
• Certified

The “shipping options” screen should look like the following image:

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are currently determined on the basis of item weight and the average BigBuy shipping costs. They are automatically sent to Cdiscount via the API and it isn’t currently possible to modify them.

Additional charges may be introduced for Corsica. These charges will apply to all orders placed for this area, and one more day will be added to Cdiscount.

PRICING STRATEGY

Once you have selected the categories to be published and have configured the shipping costs, it is time to set the price margins.

Tax Rate

By enabling this feature, you can submit VAT amounts in your marketplace listings.

This information is for informational purposes only and will be displayed in the channel’s backoffice, without being applied to the calculation of the sales price.

PRODUCT PUBLICATION

Once you have set up all the previous stages, you’re ready to publish the catalogue. After posting, verify within a few hours that products have been created on the Cdiscount platform at Products > Consult your products.

Now that you’ve published the products, you can start selling.

To start synchronizing products, you need to go to the Catalogue Management section: 

Below, we’ll explain how you can add and exclude products from your synchronization, as well as the information you should consider before publishing them. 

1. Add products 

This is the first step to begin your synchronization. Choose the products you want to include in your catalogue. You can do this by category, brand, references, or CSV. We’ll explore each of these steps below. 

1.1 Add products by categories 

To select categories, use the drop-down menu in the category tree: 

You can select both main categories and more specific sub-categories and combine them as needed: 

Important: If you select a parent category, all child categories will be included automatically. 

1.2 Add products by brand 

To select products by brand, click on the “Add Brands” button and search for the desired brands, then click “Add” to include them: 

All products from that brand will be published in the sales channel, even if they haven’t been individually selected or aren’t part of the chosen categories. 

1.3 Add products by SKU or CSV document 

You can also add products from the BigBuy catalogue by searching by reference number (SKU) or importing a CSV file with the different SKUs of your interest. 

You can download the CSV files directly from the catalogue, after searching by keyword or selecting one of the dynamic categories Hot Deals and Top Sales: 

2. Exclude products

In this section, we’ll learn how to exclude products from our synchronization. 

2.1 Exclude products by price range 

When synchronizing by categories or brands, some selected items may not fit your sales strategy due to their price, either too expensive or too cheap. 

To exclude products by price, set a minimum and maximum wholesale price to exclude products within that price range from being published: 

2.2 Exclusion by condition 

Is your business idea to sell only new products? Or do you also want to take advantage of our selection of refurbished products? With this option, you can exclude products by their condition (new or refurbished) by checking the corresponding box: 

2.3 Exclude products by brand 

If you’re interested in excluding one or more brands from your sales channel, click the “Exclude Brands” button and search for the desired brands. Then click “Add” to exclude them from your synchronization: 

2.4 Exclude products by SKU or CSV document 

Similar to inclusion, you can exclude products by searching by SKU or importing a CSV file with the different SKUs you want to exclude: 

2.5 Exclude products with shipping restrictions outside the European Union 

If your business strategy also targets customers residing in non-EU countries, you can exclude products with shipping restrictions outside the EU by simply checking the corresponding box. 

Some products in our catalogue have shipping restrictions to countries outside the European Union (EU) indicated by references starting with S71*, S72*, S74*, S83*, S91*. If you sell within the EU, you don’t need to activate this functionality. 

Otherwise, we recommend activating it to avoid problems with products that cannot be shipped outside the EU. 

3. Selected products

In the “Selected” tab, you can see your current selection and the reason why each product was selected (by category, brand, etc.). Similarly, you can check why some products are excluded from your selection: 

If you want more information about a specific product, go to the “Products” section (in the left menu of the Multi-Channel Integration Platform) and enter the SKU or EAN of the product. Click the view icon to check its status and price. 

4. Excluded products

Similar to the “Selected” tab, in this section, you can check which products are excluded from your sales channel and verify the reason for the exclusion:

6. Additional settings 

In this section, you can select more options to perfectly align your synchronization with your business strategy. 

6.1 Update product images 

The products in the BigBuy catalogue may have image changes, so it’s recommended to update them automatically. If you choose not to, remember that only in the first publication of the channel (or a new product is published) will all product information be sent for its correct creation in the channel: 

6.2 Add custom text in product description 

This feature allows you to add custom text to all descriptions of your synchronized products. Depending on your business strategy, you can specify, for example, that you don’t ship to certain geographic areas or use a commercial appeal phrase for your business: 

6.3 Text customization for SEO 

By default, BigBuy publishes all product information for its correct creation in the channel. Note that this will affect every new product you publish. If you want to customize the texts of the product sheet or the title, select below which element you want to customize in the channel. Once the desired option is activated, data updates will not affect the changes you have made: 

6.4 Units for sale per product 

By default, some sales channels like eBay impose a restriction on new accounts for the maximum amount for sale. For this reason, we put one unit for sale of each product to publish the maximum number of products and have more chances of selling. 

If you want to publish more units per item, select this option and define the maximum stock to be published per range. Note that if you have publication limitation, this option will affect the number of published items: 

7. Things to consider 

• Each new publication overwrites the previous one. If you want to add new products without removing the previous ones from your store, you must maintain the first selection and expand it. 
• The maximum number of products to select for Ecommerce is 25,000. Additionally, 5,000 publications are reserved for publishing news from the selected categories. 
• If different categories, brands, and products are selected, all of them will be displayed. For example, if we select the category “kitchen” and the brand Bosch, not only Bosch washing machines or hoods will be displayed, but also products like drills, since the entire brand, as well as the entire category kitchen, is added. 
• Exclusion prevails over selection, so if we select the category kitchen and exclude Bosch, no products from this brand will appear, not even those in the kitchen category. 
• Inclusion by SKU prevails over exclusions. If we include a product by SKU, it will be considered selected in any case, even if we exclude by price range, brand, or product condition. 
• The only exclusion that overrides the inclusion by SKU is the exclusion due to shipping restrictions, explained in paragraph 2.5 of this article. 
• It is not necessary to publish by categories. If desired, you can add brands or even a complete list of products using the reference selection. 
• Remember to go to the last step and click on “Publish” when you have all the changes ready and want them to be applied.

Note: The taxes applied to the product are calculated according to the seller’s tax information and the country.

Where I can see the final sale price of my products:

– In the Products section:

• Navigate to the Products section in the Multichannel dashboard (located in the left menu).
• Locate the product either by its SKU or EAN and click on the view icon on the right to access the product page.
• Scroll down to the Product Publication Status section.
• Click on the calculator icon corresponding to the sales channel where the product is published.
• Review the final price of the product and examine how it is calculated, including factors such as taxes, margin percentage, rounding, conversion factor, and more.

– In the Orders section:

• Go to the Orders section in the MIP (located in the left menu).
• Click on MIP Order ID to see the details of the order.

• Click on the eye icon next to the product in question.

• You will be redirected to the Products section.
• From there you can see the final selling price by clicking on the calculator icon, as explained above.

– In the Pricing Strategy section:

• Access the tab Strategy implemented.
• Enter the reference (SKU or EAN) of the product to check its price.
• Click on the arrow to open the strategy details.
• In the Wholesale price Simulation column, click on See more to check the price details.

– In the Publish section:

• Publish your sales channel.
• Once published, you can view the list of products.
• Filter by SKU or EAN to see the price of a particular product.
• Click on the arrow to open the product details.
• In the Wholesale price Simulation column, click on See more to check the price details.

Now you know how to check your final sale prices. If you have established pricing rules, published them and after 24/72 hours you find price discrepancies, please contact us from your contact area with specific examples (SKU references) so we can investigate further. If prices match in your sales channel and in the MIP, please review your pricing rules and adjust them if necessary.

1. MARGIN SETTINGS 

Set the profit margin to be added to the wholesale price (HP) of the product by price range or by category. 

1.1. By price range 

You can set the profit percentage for products within a certain range.   

There are default rules that you can edit. We recommend that you add new price ranges by setting a maximum DP by clicking on the +, as we have a very extensive catalogue, and each range can include many references.   

Ideally, you should have ranges every €25 up to €100 DP at least, which is where you will find the largest number of references in our catalogue. 

Please note that if you do not activate the option Activate price range, the BigBuy Recommended Retail Price (RRP) will be applied, as it will be applied from the last price range set. 

1.2. By category (recommended for marketing campaign):

You will be able to select to which last level category to apply a different profit percentage than the range pricing rule. 

Example: 

• Products in the price range 10€-50€ will have a percentage of 30%.  
• Of these, those that fall into the Solar Line-Aftersun category will increase this percentage you set. 

2. ADDITIONAL CONFIGURATION 

2.1.Minimun profit: 

You will be able to set a minimum-security profit for all the sales you make. If you enter, for example, “2”, the system will add €2 to the sale price for products where, with the price rule set, the minimum profit is less than €2.    

2.2. Commissions: 

Commissions Ecommerce 

With this option you can add a general commission to all products. This can be useful, for example, to add the commission charged for the chosen payment method or for a marketing campaign. 

Commissions Marketplace 

As you know, marketplaces charge a commission per product.   

If you activate the recommended option, the technology developed by BigBuy previously sends us the commission charged by the marketplace, so we can publish the sale price with the corresponding commission included.   

If you choose to edit the commission percentage, you must consider what commission the marketplace charges for your published products and then take an average. Otherwise, you can make a loss by not taking into account this expense that the marketplace always charges you.   

2.3. Sales price rounding:  

Rounding is an automatic option that rounds prices to make them more visually appealing.   

If you drop down this option, you can select one of four rounding options: 00,00€ 00,00€, 00,09€ or  00,99€. 

2.4. Price updates: 

You can use this option to prevent the prices of certain products from being synchronised in your sales channel. You will prevent Bigbuy from updating the prices of these products and overwriting the prices you have configured in your sales channel.  

Add the SKUs of the products you want, either individually or through a CSV file, to later, adjust the desired price in your sales channel.  

If you are going to use the Add by CSV option, you will need to download the template to follow the appropriate format. Once you have the CSV ready, you must add it.   

2.5. Conversion rate (currency): 

You will be able to enter the value you want to convert the amount. This is essential to be able to work with a currency other than the euro in your ecommerce software.  

We recommend that you keep an eye on currency conversion changes to avoid currency value differences.  

3. STRATEGY IMPLEMENTED 

By downloading the CSV file, you will be able to consult the sales price calculated according to the established strategy.   

However, if you want to define a profit percentage for specific references, you can adjust the desired margin by downloading the CSV file and editing the column “New margin to apply” and uploading the edited file again.   

Example:  

You have already set your price rules by range or category and now you want to sell 5 “hook” products with customized mark-up to generate more traffic to your sales channel, you will need to change the margin of these 5 references in the “New margin to apply” column for this strategy and re-upload the CSV. 

In case you want to start configuring your pricing strategy from 0, you can restore and delete the price margins applied in additional configuration and for the products whose profit margin you have customized in this Strategy Implemented section by clicking on Restore margins. 

From this section you will also be able to check at what selling price and with what profit margin you are going to publish the products, depending on the type of price rule applied.   

To check this, simply open the product in question to see the details, and even from the “see more” view you can see the price formula that will be applied.
