Requirements to be able to connect your online store with Facebook

Before you start, bear in mind that you must meet the following requirements in order to sell on Facebook with WooCommerce

• Have a WooCommerce account
• Have a Facebook account and page
• Have Facebook Pixel installed

Facebook plugin for WooCommerce

One of the simplest ways of publishing your products on your Facebook page and thereby increase your sales is through the free Facebook for WooCommerce plugin.

1. Installation and activation of the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin

In the backoffice of your WooCommerce store, go to Settings > Plugins. Here, click on Add New.

Next, type Facebook for WooCommerce in the search tool and click on Install Now.

You can also download it directly from the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin page and install it by uploading the plugin to your website as a file.  Once installed, you can click on Activate.

2. Connect the plugin with your Facebook page and your products.

Once you have activated the Plugin, it’s time to configure it and connect it to your Facebook page. To do so, go to the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin and click on First Steps

Then follow the steps to connect your Facebook page, as well as Facebook Pixel and, finally, the products.

Once you have selected the products you want to import to Facebook, they will be available in 24 or 48 hours in the Store section of your Page.

Your Facebook page must be published and you must use the Shopping template, you may even have to activate the Store section of your Facebook page.
