The TP-Link TL-SG1005P desktop switch is an unmanaged switch designed for small offices, shops and home environments that need to connect several PoE network devices easily. It offers 5 RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps), of which 4 are PoE, allowing power and data over the same Copper Ethernet cable to compatible devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones or access points, eliminating the need for separate power supplies. Its compact metal housing, in black and grey, with approximate dimensions of 9.9 x 9.9 x 2.5 cm and a height of 25 mm, ensures good heat dissipation and easy installation on a desk or in tight spaces. It provides a 10 Gbps switching capacity and a MAC address table of 2000 entries, ensuring stable, efficient network traffic even with several devices connected at the same time. It is compatible with standards such as IEEE 802.3af for PoE, IEEE 802.1p for traffic prioritisation and IEEE 802.3x for flow control, improving quality of service for latency-sensitive applications such as voice or video. It includes IGMP snooping, which optimises multicast traffic management, especially useful in video surveillance systems or IP video distribution. Power is supplied via a standard AC cable, with input of 220 V, 50 Hz and current up to 1.25 A, with a maximum power consumption of around 4 W for the device itself (excluding PoE load). It features front LED status indicators for each port and for system status, making it easy to visually monitor connection and power. Its operating temperature range from -40 ÂșC to 70 ÂșC and humidity range from 10% to 90% allow reliable use in different environments, as long as recommended installation conditions are met. Power on and off are controlled by a push-button switch, simplifying basic handling with no software configuration required. This TP-Link TL-SG1005P Gigabit PoE switch is a practical, robust solution to expand a wired network and power Ethernet devices with a single compact unit.
PoE Switches for Your Ultra Convenience 5-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch with 4-Port PoE Power over Ethernet 4 of the 5 Auto-Negotiation RJ45 ports (Port 1 to Port 4) of the switch support Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. These PoE ports can automatically detect and supply power with those IEEE 802.3af compliant Powered Devices (PDs). Intelligent Power Management When total power consumption excels 56W, the intelligent power management will cut the lower priority port power off to ensure the high priority portâs power supply and protect the device from power overload operation. Sturdy Metal Casing Sturdy, compact metal casing and shielded RJ45 ports, with desktop/wall-mounting design, to meet your needs in any environment. Besides, fanless design ensures quiet operation.
