In this article, we explain the steps necessary to index a product catalogue in our online store.
To be able to do this, you must follow these simple steps:
- Go to the Shop Parameters (1) > Search (2).
- In the Indexing section you can see the number of products that haven’t been indexed in your store (3). In this case there are 3,766 products indexed of the total 3,767 that are available.
- We’ll now show the following links:
- Add missing products to the index (4): We’ll first need to click on this link.
- Rebuild the entire index (5). Only use this link if the other process isn’t working properly.
NOTA
This indexing work is a little heavy and as a result the server may manifest an error (white screen), before the process, both the “add” and “Reconstruct” has been finalised.
In the event of this type of error occurring, we’ll have to continue doing the product adding process until we are redirected to the control panel or in the case of some servers, until we see that all the products are indexed (2).
