In the following article we explain how to round off the price of products in your dropshipping store, either up or down, as needed.
Follow these steps:
1- Go to Preferences > Settings (1).
2- You have the following options in Rounding Off Type (2):
- Rounding up, when the halfway point has been passed (recommended):
- €1.5 rounds up to €2.
- €1.49 rounds down to €1.
- Rounding down, when the halfway point has been passed:
- €1.5 rounds down to €1.
- €1.6 rounds up to €2.
- Rounding up or down to the next even value: rounding off by .5 to the closest even number.
- €23.5 rounds up to €24.
- €24.5 rounds down to €24.
- Rounding off to the next odd value: rounds off .5 to the nearest odd number.
- €23.5 rounds down to €23 (odd number).
- €24.5 rounds up to €25 (nearest odd number).
- Round up to the nearest value: Always rounds upward to the nearest number, no matter the value.
- €1.1 rounds up to €2.
- €1.9 rounds up to €2.
- Round down to the nearest value: Always rounds downwards to the nearest number, no matter the value.
- €1.1 rounds down to €1.
- €1.9 rounds down to €1.
3- In Rounding Off Type (3), you have the following options:
- Round off each item: the VAT is calculated and rounded off for each item. If an item is placed in the cart 4 times, the corresponding VAT will be equal to 4 times the rounded off VAT for each item.
- Round off each line: VAT is calculated for all the items together and then rounded off. If the same article is placed in the cart 4 times, the corresponding VAT is calculated based on the number of items and then rounded off.
- Rounding off each total: The VAT is calculated based on the total which is then rounded off. If there are several rates applied to the order and VAT has been added.
