Simulate holiday mode in Carrefour marketplace

Carrefour marketplace does not offer a specific option to put your store into “holiday mode”, so the following is an alternative for simulating this mode so that users cannot buy their products in the Carrefour Marketplace.

To simulate holiday mode in Carrefour, follow these steps:

1. Disable shipping in each of the shipping types.

To disable shipping click on My Account > Settings > Shipping costs.

Once this is done, disable shipping for each shipping type and for each region (Peninsula and Balearic Islands), as can be seen in the image.

NOTE: Make sure you have disabled shipping in all available families (A**, B**…).

  1. Disable free shipping for all orders

Once you have disabled all shipping types, go to My Account > Settings > Shipping options and make sure that free shipping is NOT selected, as shown in the following image.

  1. Check that products are inactive

Once the above two steps have been completed, check that the products are inactive. To do this, go to My inventory>Offer list and select several products to check that they are inactive, as shown in the following image.

Now, Carrefour customers will not be able to add any products from the store to their cart.

To re-activate your store in the Carrefour Marketplace, re-enable the shipping costs you disabled in the first step. If you were offering free shipping costs, then you must select the free shipping option in shipping options after enabling shipping costs.

Important
If you have modified the shipping costs with the “modifiable price” option, when you enable them again the default Carrefour price will be activated and you will have to re-edit the prices in order to add the ones you had previously. .
