How to synchronise AliExpress through the Multi-channel Integration Platform

Before carrying out the synchronisation of AliExpress with the Multi-channel Integration Platform, you must bear the following points in mind:

  • The first thing you need is an AliExpress account, if you don’t already have one, you need to register at the following link.
  • AliExpress has a publishing limit of 10000 products per account. You will need to bear this point in mind when it comes to selecting the products you want to publish in your AliExpress shop, since products beyond 10001 will not be published.
  • You need to create and configure a template of delivery costs for your shop. Before publishing any products in your shop, it is important that you create and configure a template for delivery costs for your AliExpress shop. We explain how to do this through this link.
  • Brand authorisation. AliExpress requires that the product brands that are going to be published are authorised from the AliExpress control panel. We explain how to do this through this link.

Bearing these points in mind, and having previously completed the required configurations, you can now carry out the synchronisation of AliExpress from the Multi-channel Integration Platform.

Go to your marketplace configuration on the Multi-Channel Integration Platform from the menu and you will find the Emarketplaces section.

The AliExpress’ configuration screen will appear.

In the User Name you should enter the email address for your seller account on AliExpress, then click Login to generate the necessary credentials to synchronise the account. Next, connect with AliExpress and authorise the connection. To do so, enter the username and password of your AliExpress seller account.

Once you have authorised the connection, in the next step you should enter the name that will be assigned to the sales channel for Multi-Channel Integration Platform.

In this step you should enter the name you will assign to the sales channel for the Multi-channel Integration Platform.

Additionally, the “Login” button will also appear, and you should click on it to generate the necessary credentials to synchronise the account; you will be asked for the username and password of your AliExpress seller account.

With the information entered and the shop validated, click “Continue” to access the synchronisation screen, where you should select the product categories you want to synchronise with your AliExpress account.

We explain how you can make this selection in this article.

Once you have selected the products, click “Continue” to go to the next step, which is the shippers. You will see a summary table with the delivery cost information for weight ranges so that you can configure the delivery template from the control panel of AliExpress. You also have the option of deactivating carriers (they are all active by default) to avoid orders being made through a specific carrier.

With this information you should go to AliExpress and configure the template by following the steps in this article.

Lastly, you need to configure the price margins to apply to the products that you decide to synchronise in your AliExpress shop.  The information is available for you in the following article: How the pricing rules work.

In the last step, you only need to click on the “Publish” button to start the synchronisation with your AliExpress shop. You will start to see the products available in your AliExpress account within a few minutes.

Once your account is synchronised, we encourage you to go to the AliExpress control panel, configure the aesthetics of your shop and take advantage of all of the marketing tools it offers you to boost your sales.
